About Mark Stafford

Hey there, I'm Mark Stafford and I'm a cartoonist. [sobs] I guess I have to assume responsibility for all the stuff in this portfolio. It's not like I didn't have a choice, I mean, I bought the materials and I used them. I could have entered the clergy, or the civil service or something, I had options.

[takes a swig from a bottle of martini mixer]

Though, frankly, well you could have stopped me, any one of you. Hell, you could have walked up to me back in, say, 1990 and said "Hey, Mark. Stop it. Go and work with underprivileged kids or something." I might have done it. The money's probably better. And where were my parents, huh? Okay, so I left home like, twelve years ago, but someone could have tracked me down and stopped me for god's sake.

[lines up two shot glasses of absinthe, stares at them, knocks them back]

I suppose I'm saying it's all your fault. So, here's a bunch of cartoons and paintings and stuff. It's all pretty self explanatory. Look at the pictures, read the words, laugh or don't laugh, but remember. It's all your fault.
