Emboldened subtitle proclamation of the central feature of Neill Cameron's bumper compendium of Dumbass Comics #1-3 (and i suspect, bonus material), from six or so years previous. Yes, the unlikely protagonistts are city binmen in a cyborg ninja rave drug love multi-media world not unlike our own. So yeah, Cameron places chunky blackbs by fine lined rectangular constructions in a very pop fashionable style. Devoid of any 'wisdoms of the ages' he makes it up for it by creating fast-paced good-looking set pieces of entertainment, apparent in confidence and with not a faltering. Cameron shows intimate knowlege of his characters and their world with the markmanship of a professional first-week wonder. This was one of the grand fun comics of its time and this comic is relevant in the same way.

Also, its affectionately priced for what you get and if you order your copies from Jay and Selina at Factor Fiction Press . Neill has generously agreed to donate funds to the running costs of next years Caption festival . This guy is definitely poped !

Be sure to check out Neill's forthcoming collaboration with Rich Johnston,'Political Creatures. I am loooking forward to it immensely.
